In Matrimony the man and the woman enter into a covenant of love, an intimate mutual sharing of life and love for all of life.

If you would like to be married at Our Lady of Victory Church, please contact Fr. Andy at least 6 months in advance so that you may prepare for the beautiful celebration which is the start of loving family life together.

The Sacrament of Matrimony (Marriage) beautifully reflects the Trinitarian love of God—the love between the spouses makes them one. It also reflects the Trinitarian relationship: Jesus, the husband, and the wife are bound together in love for life; and in the creation of a new family, the love between husband and wife is also realized in their children.

Marriage is a covenant of love by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership for the whole of life.  In Marriage, the covenant arises from each spouse’s full consent to love one another, which is then sealed by God’s sanctifying grace for the whole of life.
